What's New at ENHS

COMMUNITY EDUCATION ~
Eastern Niagara Hospital offers a variety of community education programs to assist individuals in their efforts to maintain healthy lifestyles. 

Upcoming programs include:

  • Diabetes Management Classes
  • Smoking Cessation Classes 
  • Diabetes Support Groups meet the last Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at the Lockport Site. 
  • Smoking Cessation Classes & Diabetes Management Classes are also offered individually on an ongoing basis.

SPEAKERS BUREAU ~
Eastern Niagara Health System also provides a Speakers Bureau at no cost for community organizations.  If you need a health professional to speak to your club or community group, please contact the ENHS Community Relations Department at 514-5505.

VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS ~
Volunteers are very active at ENH’s Newfane and Lockport Sites.  Meetings and special events are listed below:

  • The Eastern Niagara Hospital Auxiliary generally meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the administrative annex conference room.  Everyone is invited. Special activities are planned for each meeting. The Auxiliary holds various fundraisers throughout the year.

 

  • The Eastern Niagara Hospital Guild holds meetings open to the public the first Monday of each month (excluding July – September) at 1:00 PM in the Community Room of the Lockport Public Library. Refreshments are served. 


Each meeting features a guest speaker:

The Guild Hosts numerous fundraisers throughout the year.  Lobby Sales are also held in the Hospital’s lobbies throughout the year.
