Eastern Niagara Hospital welcomes the applications of those interested in participating in the Hospital's unopposed Osteopathic Family Medicine Program. First year positions are available.
Residents rotate through a myriad of specialties at the Hospital's center of operations and acute care services in Lockport, NY. In addition to two medical-surgical units for inpatient care, an 8-bed intensive care unit, and a 24-hour emergency department, the Hospital operates a 20-bed residential chemical dependency treatment unit, a 12-bed acute inpatient psychiatric unit for children and adolescents with behavioral health disorders, and an obstetrics and women’s health unit.
The Hospital’s main campus also provides rehabilitation services, cardiology, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging capabilities, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. ENH also maintains several outpatient facilities in the region, including an ambulatory surgery center. Residents are mentored by highly experienced physicians from various specialties.
Family Medicine Residents in Eastern Niagara Hospital’s program also practice at the Eastern Niagara Medical Group Primary Care office, located in the Lockport community. At this clinic, the Physicians gain valuable experience and expertise treating their own patients of all ages.
Eastern Niagara Hospital is located one half hour from Buffalo and Niagara Falls, near the border of Canada. The region offers numerous activities and sports venues, with something for all interests.
